This mug was wheel thrown and sculpted as wet clay and then wood fired by continually stoking wood in the kiln for 36 hours. The mug was imprinted with patterns caused by the flame and wood ash. There is a peppering of wood ash around the piece, and flame has painted it's left orbital. This handmade mug is completely unique and one of a kind.
