This mug was thrown on the potter's wheel and sculpted as wet clay and then wood fired by continually stoking wood in the kiln for 36 hours. The mug was imprinted with patterns caused by the flame and wood ash. There is a peppering of wood ash around it's left orbital and on it's little skull familiar acting as a spoon rest. This piece is completely unique and one of a kind.
