This mug was thrown on the potter's wheel and sculpted as wet clay and then wood fired by continually stoking wood in the kiln for 36 hours. The mug was imprinted with patterns caused by the flame and wood ash. Flame and ash decorate the body of this mug. This piece is completely unique and one of a kind.
