The mug was thrown on the potter's wheel and sculpted as wet clay and then wood fired by continually stoking wood in the kiln for 36 hours. The mug was imprinted with patterns caused by the flame and wood ash. There is a peppering of wood ash around the rim of this piece, and flame decorating the body of the mug. This piece is completely unique and one of a kind.
