Cup was pinch formed and sculpted as wet clay and then wood fired by continually stoking wood in the kiln for 36 hours. The mug was imprinted with patterns caused by the flame and wood ash. There is a peppering of wood ash around the rim of this piece, and ash and sand has made this mug a crusty beauty. This piece is completely unique and one of a kind.
