Mug was wheel thrown and sculpted as wet clay and then wood fired by continually stoking wood in the kiln for 36 hours. The mug was imprinted with patterns caused by the flame and wood ash which has painted it's face with a distinct pattern. This piece is completely unique and one of a kind.
