Carlton was made by pinch forming a pumpkin out of a ball of clay. He was then given eyes, a mouth, teeth, and a vine handle with a little leaf on top. After bisquing, he was decorated with underglaze and fired in an electric kiln to Cone 10 or 2350 F.
